speaking from the I eye is a program of readings and screenings that connects artists, writers and audiences between Brussels and Naarm (Melbourne). It focuses on representations of the everyday and asks how the personal voice appears differently in writing and filmmaking. The project enacts a new network of connections by fostering links between artists who share political and aesthetic affinities but are separated by time and distance. It is organised by Esther Carlin.
